The General English (GE) programme is designed to improve learners’ English abilities and skills, and to assist with fluency and confidence in English as a second language. This course aims to prepare students to use English for their daily needs in real life or work, and in some cases, for professional studies and other further education. The General English courses cover the four domains English language development: speaking, writing, listening and reading (with a focus on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary), building from elementary through to advanced. The programme leads learners to understand spoken and written language through integrated and engaging speaking and listening activities and exercises, and through the integration of daily reading materials. Learners also gain effective techniques for applying a range of strategies for different listening, reading and writing purposes (such as reading for detail or scanning for key information).

Curriculum:

The General English Course compromises modules of English Language and Literature in addition to preparation in Academic English, and exam preparation for IELTS Proficiency Tests.

The Certificate IV in Environmental Management and Sustainability reflects the role of individuals who are engaged in environmental management and sustainability in a range of workplace contexts. The course covers the skills and knowledge required to monitor and address environmental issues in a variety of industry sectors.

Course Description

The accelerator program provides learners with 6 months of environmental projects active participation, supported by industry mentors, consultants and additional certifications. The Diploma of Sustainable Operations specifies the competencies required to work in a technical, supervisory or operational role in sustainability in an organisation and/or its value chain (e.g. suppliers of goods or services, or customers). This qualification provides the skills needed to measure current sustainability performance and to establish processes for improved sustainability performance within organisations. It complements but does not duplicate qualifications supplying technical skills related to engineering, chemical, environmental and other technical analyses that may be needed for improving sustainability. This qualification has no formal entry requirement due to the wide variety of sustainability applications in industry. However, most enterprises will expect technical skills relevant to their operations or equivalent vocational experience and for this reason, the qualification is unlikely to be suitable for direct entry from school. The accelerator program provides learners with 6 months of environmental projects active participation.

This qualification reflects the role of early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. In doing so they work to implement an approved learning framework in within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard. The Envirotech Education mission is to introduce a new education system of ecology ad technology into the early education environment. They also introduce new age early education specialists who are able to lead the change of creating sustainable child care centres that allow the growth of children that are aware and able to understand the importance of looking after our planet and understanding the benefits and disadvantages of technology to our society.
